Equal Human Rights Will Build “Heaven on Earth”

The lack of equal human rights was the only reason the history of humankind was bad. I have developed a theory about equal human rights, which will, unavoidably, and unconditionally lead to a good society.

In the economy, equal human rights must start with the right to employment. Unemployment is the primary origin of economic injustice. Unemployed workers often have to accept low-paid jobs to support their families. The profit of the rich was always based on the exploitation of workers. The rich do not let people know about it, but I can prove it. In the 14th Century, the Black Death killed one-third of the European population, which suddenly increased demand for workers. Historian and economist Thorold Rogers stated that the shortage of workers on the market increased the workers’ salaries 2-3 times over the year. The higher purchasing power of workers boosted the economy, benefiting everyone. So, will we wait for another catastrophe, or will we be smart enough to eliminate unemployment and bring justice and prosperity to the world?

We may enforce full employment by shortening work hours proportionately to the unemployment rate. Then, employers would have to compete with one another to attract employees, and this would be achieved by increasing workers’ salaries. The just market would bring justice to the economy. It would no longer matter how the rich acquired their wealth; they would have to share it with the poor. This is the only single measure that might bust the economy and benefit from it. I wrote more about it in the article, "Full Employment is a Turning Point for Capitalism."

There is a simple measure based on equal human rights that will create a just society. It is based on the mutual evaluation of people. Let each person have the same right to evaluate others. Let a positive assessment bring a small reward to the person being assessed, and let a negative evaluation carry a slight penalty. What would we get with it? People will respect each other. They will strive to produce the greatest benefits possible for others and minimize all potential disadvantages. All social good comes from it. This will impact every instance of complex social relationships and ultimately contribute to a better society.

People have always been directed by ideologies, which have the primary intention of ensuring control over them. That is why they are not able to recognize the right path and do not trust that my idea will work. I can try to defend it by presenting a similar evaluation of YouTube. People may evaluate other people’s videos by giving likes and dislikes. No more than 5% of the evaluations were dishonest, which means that 95% of the assessments are honest and moral. Why would this not be achieved within the evaluation among people? This is the only single measure which can make a good society, and it will. I have presented a simple variation of the evaluation system in the article "Democratic Anarchy is the Future of Democracy." I wrote a simpler version of democratic anarchy for Facebook here: Permanent votes would improve Facebook.

We cannot create a better society with old ideas that have never worked. We need to be brave enough to accept new ones. Equal human rights will bring about an organic change that will significantly improve society, where nothing but prosperity will be possible. It will naturally bring a bright future to humankind, a flourishing society, and a heaven on earth. My book Humanism, available free of charge online, clearly presents it.
